By enrolling your child and completing payment through our Razorpay platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. PROGRAM DETAILS
1.1 Program Structure
- Duration: 4 months
- Total Hours: 75 hours
- Session Duration: 1 hour per session
- Frequency: Weekly sessions — Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday excluded)
- Class Format: Individual one-on-one classes
- Platform: Google Meet (link provided by Le Cercle Français)
1.2 Required Materials
- Paper and colored pencils must be provided by parents for the student's use during classes.
1.3 Program Objective
The program prepares students for French proficiency levels A1.1, A1, or A2 depending on the course selected. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate from Le Cercle Français indicating their achieved level. This certificate is issued by our school and is not an official government certification, but adequately prepares students for the official DELF examination.
8. CODE OF CONDUCT
8.1 Respectful Behavior - MANDATORY
- The student MUST demonstrate respect toward all teaching staff and fellow students at all times.
- ANY form of harassment, bullying, discriminatory behavior, or inappropriate conduct is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in immediate disciplinary action.
8.2 Appropriate Dress Code
- Students must be appropriately dressed during all online sessions.
8.3 Disciplinary Measures
- First offense: Written warning to parents
- Second offense: Suspension from classes for one week without refund
- Third offense: Immediate termination of enrollment without refund
8.4 Zero Tolerance Policy
- Severe misconduct including threats, explicit language, or harmful behavior will result in immediate expulsion without warning and without refund.
3.1 & 3.2 STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Student's Responsibility
The student must have access to:
- A stable internet connection
- A computer or laptop (tablets and smartphones are not recommended)
- Paper and colored pencils for learning activities
3.2 Learning Environment
- The student must attend classes from a quiet, distraction-free environment conducive to learning.
- A parent or guardian must be present or available nearby during all sessions.
4. ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
4.1 Punctuality
- The student must join classes on time.
- If the student fails to appear within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the class will be considered cancelled.
- The student may catch up using support materials and recordings.
4.2 Absences
- Maximum of 5 absences are permitted during the program. Beyond this limit, the student's learning outcomes may be compromised.
- Parents must notify Le Cercle Français at least ONE WEEK (7 days) in advance if the student will be unavailable, and classes may be rescheduled accordingly.
- Last-minute absences without prior notice will count toward the absence limit and will not be rescheduled.
4.3 Cancellation by Student
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be considered as attended classes.
4.4 Force Majeure
- In cases of serious illness, prolonged internet outage, or other genuine emergencies, classes may be rescheduled without penalty if we are notified at least 24 hours in advance.
4.5 Holiday Schedule
- No classes will be held on French national holidays or Indian national holidays.
- We will provide a holiday calendar at the beginning of the program.
5. TEACHING MATERIALS AND RESOURCES
5.1 Learning Platform
- Students will have access to teaching materials through our educational platform.
- This platform is for communication and resource sharing only.
6. TEACHING STAFF
6.1 Qualifications
- All instructors at Le Cercle Français have lived in France and possess prior teaching experience.
- We guarantee that all teachers are qualified to deliver French language instruction.
6.2 Teacher Absence
- In the event a teacher is unable to attend due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify parents as soon as possible.
- The affected class will be rescheduled at the earliest convenient time.
7. STUDENT PROGRESS AND EVALUATION
7.1 Regular Assessments
- Students will undergo regular reviews and tests to monitor progress.
- Monthly progress reports will be provided to parents.
7.2 Certification
- Upon successful completion of the program, the student will receive a certificate from Le Cercle Français indicating their achieved level (A1.1, A1, or A2).
- This certificate is issued by our school and is not an official government certification, but adequately prepares students for the official DELF examination.
9. PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
9.1 Supervision
- A parent or responsible adult guardian must be present with the student during classes or be immediately available if needed.
- Parents are responsible for ensuring the student maintains appropriate behavior and focus during sessions.
9.2 Communication
- Official communications must be conducted via email.
- Parents must respond to our communications in a timely manner.
10. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
10.1 Applicable Regulations
- Le Cercle Français complies with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), the Indian IT Act, and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) standards.
10.2 Data Usage
- Personal information of the student will be used solely for the purpose of delivering educational services and ensuring the smooth operation of the program.
- All data is stored securely on Hostinger and Firebase servers.
- Payment processing is handled through Razorpay's secure platform.
10.3 Confidentiality
- The student's academic progress, performance reports, and personal information remain strictly confidential.
- Information will only be shared with the parent/legal guardian and authorized school staff.
10.4 Recording Consent
- Classes may be recorded upon parental request for the student's personal review only.
- By enrolling, parents consent to the possibility of class recordings for educational purposes.
- Recordings remain the intellectual property of Le Cercle Français and may not be distributed.
12. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
12.1 Limitation of Liability
- Le Cercle Français is NOT liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from technical issues, internet failures, or equipment problems on the student's side.
- We are NOT responsible for any damage to the student's computer, device, or other equipment.
- We are NOT liable for learning outcomes that may be affected by the student's attendance, engagement, or external factors beyond our control.
12.2 No Guarantees
- While we make every effort to provide high-quality instruction, we cannot guarantee specific examination results or language proficiency outcomes.
- Individual learning progress varies and depends on multiple factors including student engagement, practice, and aptitude.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
14.1 Applicable Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
14.3 Language
- The official language of these Terms and Conditions is English.
- In case of any translation disputes, the English version shall prevail.
2. FEES, PAYMENT & DISCOUNTS
2.1 Payment Terms
- All fees must be paid in full according to our published rates BEFORE the commencement of courses.
- Payment is processed through our secure Razorpay platform.
- Enrollment confirmation is done by seat reservation payment.
2.2 Sibling Referral Discount
- Families enrolling more than one child benefit from a 10% discount on the second child's enrollment fees.
- This discount applies to siblings enrolled simultaneously in any program.
- The discount cannot be combined with other promotions and is applied at the time of payment.
2.3 Refund Policy
- NO REFUNDS will be issued once the course has commenced.
- Payment is non-refundable regardless of the student's attendance or participation after the start date.
5.2 Intellectual Property Rights
- All teaching materials, resources, and content provided by Le Cercle Français are CONFIDENTIAL and PROPRIETARY.
- DISTRIBUTION, SHARING, COPYING, OR REPRODUCTION of any materials, recordings, or resources is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
- Violation of intellectual property rights may result in immediate termination without refund.
11. TERMINATION
11.1 Termination by Parent
- Parents may terminate the enrollment with 15 days written notice via email.
- NO REFUND will be provided for fees already paid, regardless of classes attended or remaining.
11.2 Termination by Le Cercle Français
We reserve the right to terminate the enrollment with 15 days notice in cases of:
- Repeated violations of the Code of Conduct
- Non-payment of fees
- Breach of intellectual property rights
- Any behavior that disrupts the learning environment
In case of termination due to student misconduct, a prorated refund for undelivered classes may be issued at our discretion.
13. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
13.1 Right to Modify
- Le Cercle Français reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Any modifications will be communicated to enrolled parents via email with 30 days advance notice.
- Continued enrollment after notification constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Le Cercle Français and the parent/legal guardian concerning the enrollment of the student. No verbal agreements, promises, or representations not contained herein shall be binding.
3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.3 Technical Issues
- Le Cercle Français is NOT responsible for technical problems, internet connectivity issues, or equipment malfunctions on the student's side.
- If technical issues arise from our side, the affected class will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
